Description
Goosfest is thrilled to offer a workshop led by Barbara Biddulph. Barbara is a highly respected well known NW Artist and designer whose energetic and dynamic approach to drawing has led her to become one of the most sought after teachers.
This event will be an introduction to drawing – initially using drawing exercises to ‘warm up’.
Then we’ll move outside to continue drawing ‘ en plein air‘ around the farm buildings and livestock, using the techniques from the introduction session. Prepare to be taken out of your comfort zone – in a good way.
This is a working farm with animals and all that goes with that. Wear appropriate clothes that you don’t mind getting mucky. Also weather-proof if that’s required on the day and take an umbrella if it looks like rain.
Equipment. A camping stool / chair, drawing stool or even a folding light weight garden chair will make it a lot easier. At the very least a plastic bag to sit on. There are no benches anywhere.
Finally bring a sketch book you like working with – at least A4 size. A few sharp pencils, crayons and water colours if you wish. More is best so you have a selection of things to try.
People can bring their own lunch or use Bidlea Dairy café.
