Luke is also an accomplished author and has published considerably. Luke often tours with John Cooper-Clarke and he has featured on BBC Radio 4 several times. His work has been recognised with a Fringe First, a Stage Award, and the 2021 Saboteur Spoken Word Artist of the Year. He has made fifteen different solo shows, three plays and has published five collections of his poetry and six pamphlets. His most recent work which he is currently touring across the UK, is called Later Life Letter, which relates to family, adoption, and ultimately, love.
