‘Write Your Way to Wellbeing’ workshop - with Judi Goodwin
Writing is good for you! Dozens of experiments around the world have proved that writing for wellbeing can improve both physical and mental health. It’s widely used in schools, hospitals, community settings and the workplace to relieve stress and anxiety and to help people gain more positive perspectives on life.
It is a way of taking time to reflect on your life and who you really are, and it enables you to connect to the authentic voice within. People say the experience is like having a friend who listens to you without judgement, or having your own personal therapist 24 hours a day.
This day is for anyone who is looking to get more from life and is prepared to explore and discover in a safe and confidential space. Previous writing experience is not required and there is no need to read out or share anything you have written, unless you choose to do so.
Set in the fabulously renovated Business Centre in Twemlow, in beautiful South Cheshire Countryside with amazing views, you will be led by Workshop Leader Judi Goodwin. Judi has previously run sell-out creative writing workshops for Goosfest and this promises to be a popular event.
