Goosfest Art Exhibition - Sunday
Free admission with a booked ticket
This exhibition brings together four superb professional artists whose works are widely shown and increasingly appreciated by the public.
Caroline Ritson, a member of Oxford Art Society, is a highly respected artist who has exhibited internationally, and her work is in many private collections, demonstrating how colour and texture can often found in the small details – the patterns of reflections in water, the rust on a metal door, sun shining through a breaking wave.
Scott Bridgwood is a figurative painter based in Leicester who graduated in fine art painting from Chelsea School of Art, London. After exhibiting in London (the ICA and Westminster Gallery) he emigrated to Rome, working as a mural artist and teaching at the British Cultural Institute (BCI) for ten years. Scott has exhibited and sold widely across the UK, won various prestigious art prizes and features in many private collections. His work is represented by The Cank St. Gallery, Leicester; The Lost Gallery, Aberdeen, and The West End Gallery Leicester. He teaches Life Drawing and Portraiture at Leicester University.
Sam Baguley is a self-taught artist living and working in Goostrey who paints mostly in oils and is largely inspired by the natural world.
Debbie Goldsmith graduated in Fine Art from Coventry Polytechnic in 1991. An artist based in Cheshire, she is also a Curator for Early Years and Families at Tate Liverpool. Her paintings are a vibrant mix of drawing, mark making and painterly abstraction, using her surroundings to inform her paintings. She exhibits regularly, works to commission and has work in both public and private collections.
