A Lecture by Frank Vigon – Getting the lowdown – the history of political cartoons
Frank Vigon is an educationalist who lectures now on a variety of topics to adult audiences on topics ranging from Politics, History, Education, Art History, Literature and Cultural studies. In addition to organising lecture tours of art galleries and museums he also a Director of plays and a performer of comedy. He has designed posters and illustrated educational publication. In this lecture he will trace the history of the political cartoon and how it has formed an important commentary on political life (and behaviour) over the centuries.
